Ventilation Hygiene Elite & TR19

We are working directly with BESA as building owners and operators becoming more aware of the fire risks posed by poorly cleaned and maintained systems, there has been growing demand for a robust process to verify the quality of cleaning – particularly of grease extract systems used by commercial kitchens. In response, BESA’s certification arm BESCA have launched the Ventilation Hygiene Elite scheme based on the requirements of TR19.

The Elite scheme is designed to protect clients, giving them the peace of mind that comes from employing a verifiably competent specialist ventilation hygiene contractor. In addition, BESA are also undertaking a review of TR19m which is expected to be published in the summer of 2018.
