Tabletop Trends: New light equipment launches

Light equipment launches coming your way in 2026

The light equipment and tableware sector loves to innovate – here’s a few of the exciting new product launches FEA members have lined up for Quarter One 2026.

IGK11022W Igenix 1 litre kettle from BlueStem Group

A compact electric kettle, its 2KW heating element makes an efficient and fast way to heat water for up to two cups of hot drinks. It’s ideal for smaller kitchens or for customer self-service in hotel rooms. The circular base allows for convenient handling for both left- and right-handed users, with integrated cord storage helping to reduce clutter on kitchen counters and in hotel rooms. Safety is ensured thanks to boil dry protection that shuts off the unit when the water level is too low.

Digital scales from Chef Set Ltd

With a sturdy and attractive brushed stainless steel body, the slimline digital scales have a maximum capacity of 10kg. The scales can be switched between measuring in grams or ounces and have a tare function to zero out container weight, making an accurate and simple to use solution for any kitchen. Unlike many digital scales it is powered by two included AAA batteries, which means it’s ready to work straight out of the box so you don’t need to hunt around find batteries.

Tala dual purpose bread & cutting board from Dayes

Crafted from lacquered acacia wood, this cutting board excels at both food preparation and display. Inbuilt finger recesses allow ease of handling during service, while deep grooves around the edge provide crumb storage when used as a bread/pastry board. Versatility is increased as it can be flipped over to operate as a flat chopping surface. Ideal for self-service breakfast and counter display, with the rich lacquered finish enhancing looks while making cleaning simple.

Scaritech scoring blades from Signature FSE

Signature has added high quality scoring blades and bakery equipment from Scaritech International for 2026. With the growth in popularity of artisanal bread and pastry, there is increased demand for top end dough scorers to mark loaves before they go in the oven. This allows it to expand correctly, increasing the surface area of the crust and allowing bakers to create personalised, attractive bread easily. Made with food-grade memory plastic and precision blades the scorers are available in a range of styles for different bread types. The range also includes specialist bread products including baking sheets and baguette trays.

Mythos Lighting rechargeable lamps from Signature FSE

Signature are also now offering the range of rechargeable lights from Mythos. These are elegant and functional lights suitable for a range of foodservice uses. The lighting pods cast light down into the lamp, which has space for operators to add items such as flowers, table numbers or other objects to create a bespoke lighting solution. Only the lighting pod needs to be removed for charging, and up to 15 pods can be recharged from a single 13amp socket, with up to 60 hours operation per charge. They strike the perfect balance between creating ambience and ease of use.

Bonzer Classic R Can Opener from Mitchell & Cooper

Bonzer has redesigned the popular range of can openers to feature a new matte black coating. It still has the company’s signature red handle, making it easy to locate this vital part of any kitchen’s equipment during busy times. As well as looking stylish, the coating is engineered for durability and hygiene. Underneath the coating it’s still the same high quality can opener that has made it a common sight in any business where high volumes of tinned food are used.

Colour coded knives from Thunder Group

Thunder Group has released a range of quality kitchen knives made with high carbon German steel and available with a selection of brightly coloured polypropylene handles. The range includes Santoku knives, slicer knives, chef’s knives in both 10 and 8 inch sizes, boning knives, paring knives and bread knives, each available with green, brown, red, blue or yellow handles. This makes it easy to maintain separate equipment for different dietary or allergenic regimes, with the high quality steel maintaining sharpness.
