1. Tell us about how your business got started.

Arch Catering and Refrigeration is a young vibrant flexible Service, Maintenance and Asset Management company born from a desire to offer a complete proactive and professional service. Driven by our passion within the industry we strive for nothing more than your kitchen to run smoothly and stress free. With our proactive approach, flexible solutions and efficiency we ensure that you can accommodate the most important people “Your Customers” to the dining experience they deserve and are paying for.
Founders of Arch Simon (National Accounts Manager) and Rebecca (Scheduling Team Leader) have over 20 years’ experience between them and seen many changes within the industry. Some good, some bad. With this combined knowledge and experience it has helped to form a professional partnership and understanding of the customers’ needs and challenges.
Based in the Southeast, Arch are proud to maintain kitchens within the Restaurant, Hotel, Care home, School, Gym, and Staff Catering facility sectors. Our nationwide coverage means single and multi-site clients can be accommodated by our fully qualified engineers.
Experience has shown that no two sites are the same. With this in mind a flexible Service and Maintenance package can be drawn up to suit individual needs.

2. What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

We both enjoy all aspects of the industry from working with the engineers on the service side to being in the hustle and bustle of a busy working kitchen conversing with Chef to for fill his kitchens needs and challenges, it’s always fast paced and sometimes exciting.

3. What is the biggest challenge for your business right now? 

As we are a new start up the challenges keep on mounting however with the help of bodies such as the FEA and experts in the industry that we have both met over the years with hard work and determination all these challenges will disappear.

4. What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

We both started within the industry many years ago with two bosses that were highly respected and major advocates of CESA and the CFSP development program, also working alongside the major manufacturers and influencers within FEA.

5. Anything else you’d like to add?

We are both aware that as a new start up it’s unusual to be able to be involved with FEA and would like to thank Jocelyn and members for the hard work getting us involved.
