Hospitality Action launch Back in Business Tour. Can you help to cover 50,000 miles?
It’s time to hit the road to recovery, celebrate the joy hospitality brings to our lives, and show the world there’s no holding a good sector back.
Hospitality Action's Back in Business tour 2022 will plot a virtual course between some of the most famous hospitality venues and experiences on the planet covering 50,000 miles. All the while raising money for the people whose lives have gone backwards during the pandemic.
How you clock up the virtual miles is up to you: whether you walk, run, cycle or swim, every step, pedal and stroke counts. Or, now that Lockdowns are behind us, why not turn on your fitness app and capture the distance you travel during a busy service or your journey to work?
Alternatively, you could recruit colleagues to exercise together, build team spirit, boost your collective wellbeing and have some fun.
You have from the morning of Friday 10th June until 2pm on Monday 20th June to walk/run/cycle as many miles as possible. Don’t start any sooner as your miles won’t be added!
The tour will plot a virtual course between some of the most famous hospitality venues and experiences on the planet. As we go, we’ll raise a glass of champagne in Reims, and chomp on a juicy Argentinian steak in Mendoza. We’ll down Singapore Slings at Raffles, and sip on refreshing mint tea at La Mamounia in Marrakech. We’ll savour Tokyo’s most mouth-watering sashimi, and rip into a classic Neapolitan pizza.
Hospitality Action can even create a bespoke route for you on the challenge site, for example a virtual tour of your members, meaning you’ll have a targeted and relevant means of engaging with your team.
For two long years, our lives have been at a standstill. Now it’s time to hit the road to recovery and show the world there’s no holding a good sector back - and we’d love your organisation join in the fun.
