Tell us about how your business got started.

JoH Design was established in 2009, driven by a love for the foodservice industry, creative problem‑solving and a desire to deliver thoughtful, effective design solutions.

What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

The variety and no two days or projects being the same!

From operational flow and customer experience to aesthetics, innovation, and functionality, building structures and services - the variety of challenges is endless. Our role across multiple sectors of the foodservice industry allows professionals to work closely together to provide real-time solutions to enhance environments for the client team.

What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?

The fear of change and innovation.

Managing the client expectations to re-think traditional layouts, equipment choices and operational methodology to invest in and promote high‑performance kitchens, innovation, reduced labour needs and fully compliant designs, is a constant balance.

What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

The wide-range of product solutions and the teamwork of industry peers within the foodservice equipment sector, to promote, report and educate on a range of current and future industry initiatives and issues to further support JoH Design project proposals and company development.
