CESA Refrigeration Companies - Eco design and Energy labelling

CESA has arranged a meeting on Tuesday the 27th of September from 14:00-16:00 to consider and discuss the issues relating to the implementation of the Eco Design and Energy Labelling requirements for refrigeration in our sector.

 

To that end we have arranged the following speakers: -

 

Mike Rimmer, Senior Policy Advisor, Sustainable Energy using Products team in BEIS (Business Energy and Industrial Strategy) will give an overview of the changes and the role of the new department and also include his views relating to developments with Commercial Refrigeration and update the meeting on the labelling discussion currently in trilogue.

 

Judith Evans, Director, Refrigeration Developments and Testing Limited (RD&T) will comment on the commercial refrigeration Ecodesign/labelling regulations and the standard under development. Judith will also provide feedback on the professional regulation and its implementation based on the company’s research following its introduction on the 1st of July 2016.
