The Airedale Group Jump on Board with FEA

The Airedale Group introduce themselves as the newest member of the Foodservice Equipment Association.

1. Tell us about how your business got started.
Airedale was formed in 1986 by Peter Bywell and John Rhodes providing fabrication and equipment to local businesses. The majority of the works being local restaurants. Employing just three people when formed, the business now employs over 400 staff!
2. What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?
The industry gives us the opportunity to take on new challenges on a daily basis as the market place and clients’ needs change. As a group this has led to us having the opportunity to invest in people, businesses, systems and machinery to meet these demands.
3. What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?
Our biggest challenge will be supply chain and legislation when Brexit eventually is delivered. The uncertainty still remains as to how this will effect supply of goods and services.
4. What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?
As a market leading business in the sector we want to be part of the FEA to share our experiences and knowledge to influence and enhance our industry. The FEA will give us the opportunity to work with peers to collectively work out the challenges we face. Having a shared forum and common goal was an important part of the decision to join.
